Our client based in Ripon who is a leader in their industry is currently looking to recruit a Credit Control Administrator on a full time, permanent basis!

Your duties will include:

  • You will manage a portfolio of existing and new customers with the purpose of controlling, reducing and maintaining debt risk.
  • Ensure systems are updated with call, payment promise and query information. Work within set Measures, KPI’s and Objectives assigned (individual and/or team).
  • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Identify and support query resolution to enable free cash flow into the business.
  • Identify and support problem solving and process improvement opportunities.
  • Working closely with key stakeholders across the business to identify and minimise credit and debt risk across customer portfolio.
  • Attend internal or external meetings as required.
  • To act in accordance to department Policies & Procedures, with full Audit & Data compliance.
  • Achieve high volumes of daily credit control, documenting all call activity, including payment promises and all queries.
  • Minimise debt and provision risk to the business by way of pro-active and reactive credit collection methods.
  • Achieve high level of collection results for nominated accounts, reducing and maintaining aged debt provision.
  • Ability to identify potential problem accounts, recommending accounts be placed on stop or legal
  • Preparing any ad-hoc internal or external reporting.

You will have:

  • Prior office experience dealing with customer contact.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and internal employees at all levels
  • Tenacious and flexible approach to your daily role
  • MS Office Skills
  • Prior experience in Credit Control environment
  • Time Management – ability to manage own time to meet challenging deadlines and effectively prioritise conflicting demands
  • Analytical – ability to review detailed financial data
  • Communication – good communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to financial and non financial stakeholders.

In return, our client is offering a salary of £20k + benefits for the right candidate.

This is a full time, permanent role working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
