Our client, based in Wetherby is currently looking for an Administrator to join their team on a part time, temp – perm basis!

Our client, based in Wetherby is currently looking for an Administrator to join their team on a part time, temp – perm basis!

Hours will be 22.5/week and these can either be worked as 3 full days or over 5 days.

As Administrator your role is to provide general administration support to order processing, shipping, expediting & documentation departments and shall also provide personal assistance to the Operations Director.

Your duties will include:

  • Database entry & management
  • The fielding of telephone calls/emails, general reception duties – meeting and greeting
  • Word document processing
  • Assisting the project management department
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding documentation
  • Uploading and archiving documentation to software systems
  • To ensure export compliance in accordance with company procedures, and cross referencing goods to determine if export restrictions may be in place for the goods being processed and informing others.
  • Archiving and completing important paperwork
  • Liaising with suppliers and the coordination of work activities
  • Liaising with customers and responding to their needs and requirements
  • Assisting the sales and management team in the completion of tasks
  • Orchestrating meetings and appointments
  • Expediting of orders to ensure delivery performance
  • Ensuring on time deliveries by appointed forwarders
  • Arranging the collection and delivery of goods through freight bookings

Person specification:

  • Previous office administration experience is essential
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competent with computer systems including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Highly organised and efficient with good ability to manage time and prioritise
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear and polite telephone manner
  • Ability to deal with both clients and suppliers
  • A confident self-starter who is happy working alone as well as part of a small team
  • Reliable and flexible in the work attitude and able to use their initiative to solve simple problems but not afraid to ask questions when required.

In return, our client is offering an hourly rate of £12 for the right candidate!

Own transport required due to location of the role.
