We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Communications Assistant for a FANTASTIC company based in Harrogate on a part time basis.


You will be reporting to the Communications Manager whilst supporting the delivery of the communications and engagement strategy. You will create visual and written content including articles and posts.




  • Organise conferences and marketing events
  • Identify appropriate marketing and promotional opportunities across the range of the company’s services and location
  • Create a range of content for different audiences, including newsletters, press releases, social media posts and promotional literature
  • Maintaining web content
  • Building relationships with local editorial staff / local radio
  • Identifying new and innovative ways to raise the profile of the company for specific projects
  • Ensure all copy and promotional materials follow the corporate brand and are delivered on time within the budget
  • Use social media ensuring updates are timely and appropriate to the audience
  • Assist with the delivery of market research, engagement surveys and other insight as required


In order to be successful, you must have excellent communication skills with great confidence. You should be able to prioritise tasks and manage workloads with accuracy. Ideally you will be full of ideas and bring fresh insight into the team, being a self-motivated is essential.

Knowledge and experience of using digital platforms and tools is highly looked at.


Hours: 22.5 hour week, days can be negotiated.


In return, our client is offering a salary between £9.23 – £10.25/hour dependant on experience.
