Production Operatives

Description

Our AWARD-WINNING Harrogate based client is currently looking to recruit a number of Production Operatives to join their team on a full time, permanent basis!

You will report into the Production Team Leader and be based in state of the art, new, purpose-built site!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the assembly or packing of products to agreed targets and quality standards.
• Ensure component supply by monitoring the use of stock and advising Team Leaders/Line Feeder of shortages.
• Carry out quality control checks on products.
• Inspect equipment & tooling to identify any malfunctions that require repairs or replacement, as well as informing the Team Leader of issues identified immediately.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Identify and report unsafe operations to Team Leader immediately.
• Maintain the work area to ensure it is clean, safe and organised.
• Upon reaching Elite status; responsible for training new starters and having expertise in the assembly of multiple products.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Deliver tasks with a focus on quality and quantity.
• Manage, organise and update relevant data/records as required.
• Interpret instructions and issues arising and respond appropriately according to policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change or development.

Hours will be – Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

Own transport required to get to the location.

In return our client will be offering a salary of in between £19,756.18 – £20,997.64
