Our Harrogate client, a leader in their industry is currently looking to recruit a Project Administrator to join their team on a full time basis, this is initially to cover a 12 – 18 month mat cover with the potential of a permanent role for the right candidate/after the contract!


We are looking for a conscientious and customer focused Project Administrator to join our client’s team. You will be part of the wider operations and planning team and report to the Operations Manager.


The role will see you dealing with domestic and commercial customers, offering exceptional service at every point of the process, and supporting the installation teams to deliver customer projects on time and in budget.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordination of the customers project from start to finish
  • Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer queries
  • Project administration
  • Providing office and administrative support to field-based installers and technicians
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Liaising with sales, warehouse and suppliers to ensure that functions and processes are carried out in a smooth and efficient manner to support our scheduling activity
  • Liaising with installers on the progress of work to ensure completion of projects within the allotted time
  • Carrying out post-installation calls to check customer satisfaction before sending completion packs and guarantees
  • Handling complaints and overseeing remedial work where necessary
  • Providing fantastic customer service at every step of the customer journey


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A customer focused telephone manner with the ability to overcome difficult situations with customers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and colleagues
  • Strong administrative capabilities and great attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure with pace and accuracy
  • The ability to multi-task whilst remaining calm and organised
  • The ability to problem solve and resolve issues
  • A positive attitude and be self-motivated
  • Must be computer literate with the ability to use I.T. systems to support the requirements of the role.

£23,000-£27,000 per year, subject to experience.

20 days holiday plus 8 statuary bank holidays

37.5hrs per week, Monday – Friday 08:30-17:00 (office based)

Job Types: Temp-Perm Maternity cover, 12-18 Months, Full-time
