Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Southampton client as a Sales Administrator.
You will be working within the busy Sales Support team in the Southampton office, you must become confident across all commercial aspects of the business and be able to manage workloads and coordinate effectively, encompassing various aspects of the business.
Your duties will include:
- Dealing with sales, technical and service enquiries from an international customer base. This will usually be by telephone, email or face to face
- Using a central computer system to process sales orders and quotations
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of products and market segments to help meet customer needs, make recommendations and promote customer satisfaction
- Providing efficient sales and technical support and high-level customer service to approved service stations globally
- Processing customer warranties Supporting the Marketing team with key projects including preparation for trade shows
- Assisting in shop and POS display in our stockist network
- Price changes – ensure key accounts are notified and updated
- Provide support for service and hire enquiries where applicable
- Provide technical product support when possible, referring to manager when necessary
- Answer price enquiries, general enquiries and resolve complaints where necessary
- Respond to quote requests same day
- Any ad hoc duties required
Requirements – skills, experience and attributes:
- The successful candidate will be required to illustrate a mature approach and be able to work in a fast- paced environment where ‘on time’ product delivery to commercial and leisure customers is vital.
- The role demands a customer focused approach with an emphasis on delivering a high-quality customer service.
- The successful candidate must fit into a small, diverse, but busy team and must be able to meet deadlines and targets.
- The role requires a high level of flexibility, whilst the majority of the role is desk based there is a requirement to give practical and logistical support for Marketing events.
- The role will require a good team player, who is able to cover for other members of staff during periods of leave
In return our client is offering a starting salary of £26k with onsite parking available.
This is a full time, permanent office-based role working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.
