Did you attend 2018’s Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate?
The Great Yorkshire show is not only Harrogate’s biggest event but in fact Yorkshire’s most famous and busiest show of the year!
The show consists of a three-day event, promoting all agricultural businesses giving everyone the opportunity to compete, socialise, celebrate and have fun!
Whilst animals are competing and being shown, both local and national businesses were presenting their product / service to every guest who attended.
With more than 134,000 visitors It was said to be one of the ‘best shows yet’. This year’s GYS was extra special as there was a wedding onsite as well as a ROYAL appearance.

“Our 160th Great Yorkshire Show is set to be magical with some of the finest animals in the UK competing, breath taking performances in the Main Ring and plenty of surprises lined up for visitors to celebrate the show’s milestone. This is a celebration of food, countryside and agriculture with something for everyone of every age while keeping farming at its heart”
Director of EM Recruiting, Emma Motley was there for 2 days of the week showing her mountain and moorland pony coming home with a second prize in one of her classes! Emma said ‘The show really brings the community together, there is always such a great atmosphere and it’s a fantastic experience for everyone visiting and exhibiting. We are looking forward to attending next years event and are really grateful to the Yorkshire Agricultural society for organising!”
