Well, we have completed our first financial year – it’s been filled with ups, downs, happiness, success, stress, tears … you name it, we have felt every emotion going in this office! What I can say is, year two we are ready for you!

We don’t let the bad times get us down though and we are really excited to be going in to year two in our town centre offices. I cannot believe we are in our third office already – going from a one-man room on the outskirts of Harrogate (tiny for those of you who visited)! to a lovely open plan office looking across the town. We are looking forward to expanding the team too … so watch this space.

For any new company it’s going to be tough, I never imagined the number of objections we would come across, they come left right and centre! But, they have defined the EM Recruiting team and we work in partnership to ensure the best level of service is given to our contacts.

We are always available to speak with; face to face, on the phone or email – I like to think we are a friendly and inviting office and aim to help wherever possible, whether it be to find staff, find a job or simply some CV or career advice we will point you in the direction. We are also upfront and honest so if we can’t help we will say, we get no joy from saying we can do something when we can’t!

I just want to thank each and every one of you that has made our first year a great success, we are going into year two with a positive outlook, several placements sorted already, candidates out on interview and a number of temps! It’s great to of been supported by so many clients and candidates alongside our journey, we have met some fantastic contacts and can only hope our network will grow.
